Apologies were received from Mr C J Bloore, Mrs E A Eyre, Mrs F M Oborski, Mr P A Tuthill and Mrs R Vale.

In the absence of the Chairman and Vice Chairman, the Democratic Governance and Scrutiny Manager invited the Members present to elect a Chairman for the meeting.  It was agreed that Mr A A J Adams (Chairman of the Economy and Environment Overview and Scrutiny Panel) should take the Chair for the meeting.

As the OSPB Chairman and Vice Chairman were not in attendance and given the lack of political balance amongst those Members present, it was agreed that the items of business planned for today’s meeting would be deferred.  The main item of business (Worcestershire Passenger Transport Strategy Public Consultation) would be considered at the next meeting of the Economy and Environment Overview and Scrutiny Panel to be held on 5 July at 10am.  Members of the Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board would be invited to this meeting.
